After you have a general idea about your shoot's location, the date and you feel like we are a good fit- you fill the form from the contact page. I send you a detailed brochure with more information on prices and packages, we hop on a phone call if you still have questions, I send you a contract, you read it, sign it and send a 30% retainer. I hold your date after I receive the retainer. After that we start working together to make your day exacly the way you want it.
I'm choosing to keep things intimate by accepting only up to 15 weddings. This allows me to dedicate more attention to each couple, ensuring that I deliver the best possible experience and beautifully crafted photos. My focus is on quality over quantity. To give you an idea of the change, I once managed 40 weddings in a year—which was quite the whirlwind! Now, I prefer to connect more deeply with fewer couples, making each wedding a truly personal project.
The retainer is legally non-refundable. But if we can come up with a new date that works for the both of us the same retainer will apply to hold the new date if it's in the same wedding season. For the following year a new deposit is required.
This would only happen if it's out of my control (illness, death, act of God etc.). In this case I would do my best to find a replacement photographer that fits the same budget and has similar style.
Tipically, a session takes up to 4 weeks and a wedding/ elopement up to 8 weeks. But this will depend on the time of the season, holidays and my work travel schedule. You will get sneak peaks within the first week and I will communicate with you about any delays.
This depends on the package and hours captured. But I promise nothing is left out and all the good images will be part of the final selection. I will add different angles, b&w, and framing. The gallery will tell a story from start to finish and it will contain plenty of detailed shots about the day, place, location etc. A minimal estimate is 75 images/hr.
Yes! For the remaining balance we can split it in 3 payments and I'm open to work with your schedule.
The retainer is 30%. The ramaining of 70% is due 30 days before the event day. For other types of shoots 2 weeks before the shoot date.
I am based on Martha's Vineyard, MA, USA. My second home is Romania. YES, traveling is my favorite thing, name a place and I'll be there for a shoot!
My travel rates depend on the area and are based on travel from MA or Romania (depends on the season). This includes flights, car rental and accommodation. I based this on economic rates. All travel expenses will be included in your final package.
I only retouch temporary imperfections like skin blemishes, bruises, or scrapes—unless you prefer they remain untouched in your photos. If there's anything you're particularly self-conscious about, please feel free to share it with me. This way, I can be more mindful when positioning you to ensure you look and feel your best in every shot.
